PRANA conducts research on anti-immigrant laws and policies with the hopes of establishing a new immigration reform which keeps families together and protects the rights of immigrants. PRANA hopes that by conducting research and negotiating with lawmakers, an immigration reform can be established that provides immigrants with a clear road map and path to American citizenship.
PRANA also intends to employ the following tactics and strategies to achieve our goals:
- advocate for both new and old immigrants: we understand that a large percentage of immigrants in the United States are immigrants who have been in America for many years.
- reduce stigma, stereotypes, and discrimination against immigrants: we will work hard to reduce stereotypes surrounding immigrants who face discrimination in society and the corporate world.
- address the judicial process for immigrants: we intend to address the civil and legal rights of immigrants which are being violated.
- work with other organizations who support our cause: we will work closely with other organizations and officials who support our cause to bring social, political and economic justice to immigrants living in the United States.
